Croatia

A key highlight of Croatia is its extraordinary natural beauty which covers the lengths of the country. From cascading waterfalls to mesmerising lakes, the national parks will take your breath away. It is no surprise to those who have seen Croatia that it has often been used as a filming location for huge works such as Game of Thrones, where the medieval city of Dubrovnik was put on full display to an awe-inspired international audience. Full to the brim with Balkan beauty, explore the rich history of Porec, Rovinj and Pula in the gorgeous climate, seeing the extraordinary Roman amphitheatre and the other preserved sites of the past. The charming seaside town of Opatija showcases the true charm of this favourite country; it is filled with colour, tradition and elegant buildings, allowing visitors to take in the seafront and promenade as well as exploring the classic architecture that lies all around. Whether you’re eager to uncover rich history or rugged coastlines, Croatia has you covered!

Old City Walls

Strolling along Dubrovnik’s Old City Walls is a must-do for any traveller! First built in the 10th century and later reinforced in the 13th and 14th, these sturdy walls stand guard over the city. Today, they provide spectacular views of the city below and the endless blue sea.

Stradun

Stradun struts its stuff right through the heart of the Old Town, claiming its title as one of Europe’s most stunning streets. With its white limestone paving glistening in the sun, it’s a runway for delightful cafés, quirky shops, and fabulous Baroque homes.

Rector’s Palace

Designed by the creative genius Onofrio de la Cava in the 15th century, Rector’s Palace is a dazzling fusion of architectural styles. Now the Cultural History Museum, it welcomes explorers to discover its lovingly restored rooms, showcasing everything from regal portraits to noble coats of arms.
