Belfry of Bruges
Dominating the Bruges skyline, the Belfry of Bruges stands proudly over Markt Square. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, visitors can head to the top of the tower for panoramic city views, admiring the treasury – which held the city’s charters, seals and coffers during the Middle Ages – on the way up.
The Markt
Nestled in the very heart of the city is the Markt – Bruges’ main square. Many of the city’s landmarks can be found here, including the Belfry, the Provinciaal Hof, and the statue of Jan Breydel and Pieter de Coninck.
Minnewater Lake

Zeilschip Mercator
Designed by Adrien de Gerlache, this majestic, three-master sailboat is permanently moored in front of Ostend’s city hall. Nowadays, the ship is a floating museum and visitors can explore the dormitories, the sea cadets’ mess, and the infirmary.
Atlantikwall Raversyde
Featuring over 60 bunkers, observation posts and artillery positions of the German ‘Atlantikwall’, this open-air museum showcases one of the best-preserved parts of this defence line. A must see for history enthusiasts, this unique bunker complex is home to the only preserved German coastal battery from the First World War.
