Today we head along the coast to the picturesque seaside town of Whitby to experience the regatta. This highly anticipated event is a celebration of maritime tradition and community spirit.

With a history of over 180 years, Whitby Regatta features exciting boat races competing on the waters of Whitby Harbour. You can watch a variety of vessels, with everything from traditional fishing boats to modern racing crafts.

Alongside the races, there are plenty of other activities including live music and dance performances. The event also showcases local crafts, food stalls, and various entertainment options, creating a fantastic atmosphere for all to enjoy.

Attending the regatta provides a wonderful opportunity to experience the charm of Whitby, enjoy the thrill of competitive sailing, and take part in a cheerful celebration by the sea.
