Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Weymouth for a four-night stay.

A resort for all seasons, Poole is a home to award-winning beaches and a historic old town with sea-faring tales to be told.
Later in the day we'll continue to seaside Swanage, passing through quaint Corfe Castle on the way. Swanage has lots of attractions including the Swanage Museum (entry not included), which tells the story of the area from the Jurassic period to World War II.

Today we travel to Dorchester, the county town of Dorset and the birthplace of author Thomas Hardy.
We'll continue to Bridport, a vibrant town with a fascinating antiques quarter, before following the coast along magnificent Chesil Beach and calling at Abbotsbury. This historic village sits in a secluded valley, sheltered by the Ridgeway Hills and there is a range of interesting and independent shops to be discovered here, along with charming cafés and eateries.

You will stay for four nights at the Prince Regent or Russell Hotel in Weymouth.
Russell Hotel
The Russell Hotel is situated on the glorious seafront esplanade of Weymouth and adjoins the Hotel Prince Regent. Refurbishments in 2017 saw the reception area opened up and the installation of a new seafront coffee shop and lounge area for our guests to enjoy the view from. These new facilities in addition to the existing lounge, games room and bar with live nightly entertainment offer all the facilities you need to enjoy your break. Being situated on the seafront, the hotel also offers a number of seaview rooms that really make the most of the hotels fantastic location. The Georgian Hotel Prince Regent sits on Weymouth's sea front with fabulous views across the bay towards the stunning Jurassic Coastline. With the beach across the road and the town centre with it's many shops, cafe's and restaurants just a short stoll away it is a prime location for your stay in Weymouth.
