Local departure by coach, then on to Weston-super-Mare and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a tea, coffee or mulled wine with a festive treat on arrival to get us into the spirit of the season.
Included excursion to Bath, the largest city in Somerset and the only UK city designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Bath is famous for its Roman Baths dating back to 43AD, as well as the Royal Crescent and the Circus and many other examples of stunning architecture. Choose to visit the Jane Austen Centre and learn more about the author who loved this city, enjoy some retail therapy or simply relax in a chic bar or restaurant.
In2023, Bath Christmas Market is scheduled for 23rd November to 10th December and is an added attraction to enjoy the festive atmosphere and pick up those gifts for Christmas.
We return back to the hotel in time for our 'Christmas Dinner' complete with a complimentary glass of wine.
Enjoy a day at leisure in seaside Weston-super-Mare or join our optional excursion to nearby Street, which is home to the famous Clarks brand and an extensive shopping outlet village with a variety of brands on offer.

This morning we visit Cheddar, famous for the magnificent limestone Gorge has attracted visitors for centuries, which were formed over one million years ago during the last ice age. The village has riverside walks, quaint tearooms, and is home to the world-famous cheese and the traditional method of cheese making can still be seen at the Cheddar Gorge Cheese Company.
We then continue to Wells, whose cathedral makes this the smallest city in England!
We return to the hotel for a festive cream tea.
We depart the hotel this morning full of festive cheer and return home.
