Local departure by coach, then on to Wrexham and our hotel for four nights. We enjoy a festive treat on arrival to get into the spirit of the season.
Today we’ll head to the coast to the traditional Victorian resort of Llandudno, which retains much of its 19th-century grandeur. With pier, promenade, and spectacular sweeping views across the bay, and with the majestic Great Orme mountain as a backdrop, Llandudno combines everything you want from a seaside town with the rugged beauty and nature that north Wales is famous for.
Relax in Wrexham, or join our optional excursion to Llangollen. This ancient market town on the River Dee is part of the UNESCO World Heritage Site along eleven miles of canal from Gledrid to the Horseshoe Falls via the spectacular Pontcysyllte Aqueduct.
The optional excursions will be available to book during your tour.
Prices are per person and are subject to change. Payment will be in Euros (cash payments only).
Visit medieval Chester, a city rich in heritage, with many historic sights such as the Roman Amphitheatre, walls and cathedral. Why not take a picture with Eastgate Clock, the country's second most photographed clock after Big Ben? This stunningly ornate landmark was built to commemorate Queen Victoria's 1897 Diamond Jubilee. Chester is also famous for its shopping ‘Rows’ which boasts excellent shops, boutiques and restaurants, or perhaps you'd rather explore the city a different way with a cruise along the stunning River Dee. At this time of year, Chester is typically bursting with Christmas Markets, full of stalls selling festive food and hand-crafted gifts.* *Please Note: Christmas markets are subject to confirmation and may not operate on these dates.
We depart the hotel this morning full of festive cheer and return home.
You will stay for four nights at the Ramada Wrexham Hotel.
