Lovely staff but disappointed with the room Room number ,125. Cracked sink, chipped bath. Spoke to very nice receptionist but too late to change. It's due for renovation next year. Poor husband couldn't have a shower as he couldn't climb into the bath. Great location though and we had a nice holiday. Shame about the room.

The hotel is well sited high above the town giving a great vista overlooking the harbour. Freshly decorated and the young staff was pleasant and helpful.

Shearings didn’t seem to have told Hotel we had already paid the extra for the dog but hotel very good and accepted our payment confirmation email as evidence. Otherwise all good. Loved the hotel, staff excellent, food good with a different vegetarian choice every day. Room comfortable and staff found a non slip bath mat for the shower as soon as I asked as my husband has some mobility issues and it made the shower safer for him. Dog had a fabulous time too. Loved the separate dining area for guests with dogs. Great idea as always concerned about allergies/ fears for people without dogs in dining areas.
