Hotel bedroom is in a very bad, room 5 lower ground. very old needs updating, carpet worn and crested up had to change the chair because all the plastic on the chair was falling off. Hotel got no ballroom for entertainment, gym or swimming pool. But the food was very good and hotel location.

Set in a wonderful position along the seafront this hotel is clean , comfortable & friendly. The food was good with excellent breakfast & evening meal choices . We thought it excellent value for money & very much enjoyed our stay. We have stayed here before & knew about its large car park , a plus for us . This time we were charged £6 /day to use it , not extortionate as car park charges go but a new extra . We would be happy to stay here again.

Overall fair value for money. However, on day two at breakfast they ran out of orange juice and did not replace. Day three ran out of some ceeial and did not replace, main meal selection was restrictive and to some degree repetitive. TV was was difficult to tune with main stations drifting, several complaints regarding this, only to be told its the way it is. Restless nights due to poor mattress ie; coil springs passed sell by date, no support. No room service. After many years of using Shearings, not sure I want to continue to do so.

We have been going to the Imperial for many year, and have seen many changes. The staff are always friendly and helpful. Dinner , this time was very good. Thank you Chef - a special mention. We like Exmouth and the surrounding area and will be back.

Hotel well located with good sitting out areas and ample parking. Meals very good. Downside was presence of dogs, particularly in communal areas, and being allocated a room in the basement.
