Continuing south to Italy, we arrive at the Hotel Liberty in the resort of Malé this evening.
Relax and enjoy some free time or join our optional excursion through beautiful castle-clad mountains to the delightful spa-town of Merano. Here, you can amble along the streets of the old town and visit some of the many shops, which are mainly concentrated in the medieval arcades. The Passeggiata promenade stretches along the Passirio River and is lined with historic buildings such as the Kurhaus.
During your visit to Merano, be sure to treat yourself and sample some of the pastries in one of the chic coffee shops and search for souvenirs in the quaint shopping streets.

Look forward to a fun-packed day, as we journey from Malé to Trento. Relax and enjoy the scenery as we pass through the apple orchards of the Val di Non and the vineyards of the Piana Rotaliana, before arriving in the regional capital of Trento. Join our local guide for an included guided walking tour of the city centre. After some time at leisure in Trento we board our coach to travel a winery to sample some wonderful local produce!
We visit the village and ski resort of Madonna di Campiglio, nestled at an altitude of 1550 metres on the edge of the Brenta Dolomites. We continue southwards to Lake Garda, where we enjoy time at leisure in the picturesque town of Riva del Garda. Relax and enjoy time exploring the shops, or take a stroll along the lakefront promenade and join our optional cruise to the popular resort of Limone – famous for the cultivations of lemons!

Enjoy a day of spectacular heights as we climb up into the Dolomites. The whole area is dominated by the jagged snow-capped peaks of the Sella Massif and the 10,000 ft Marmolada, a towering mountain known as the ‘Queen of the Dolomites’.

Today's optional excursion takes a visit to the regional capital of South Tyrol, Bolzano. Bolzano, or Bozen as German-speaking locals call it, is the elegant and prosperous capital of South Tyrol. Its star attraction is the Archaeological Museum, home to Ötzi the Iceman – a naturally mummified 5,300-year-old Copper Age shepherd. You can choose to visit the museum during your free time in the city (entrance not included) or you can stroll the handsome streets and piazzas of the city, browse the shops, or try some local specialties like the very delicious apple strudel!
