Alternatively why not join our optional excursion to the popular resort of Newquay which is perched on Cornwall's Atlantic Coast and bordered by seven miles of stunning beaches. with an extra experience
Sail to the beautiful Isles of Scilly, with pretty St. Mary’s as our destination. Here, you’ll find a tropical paradise made up of white sandy beaches, exotic vegetation and scenery that’s simply unforgettable!
St Mary's is the largest of the Scilly Isles, but still less than 2.5sq miles. The capital, Hugh Town, bustles with life, with its sandy beaches, fantastic shops, cosy pubs and delightful cafés.
Please note, the sailing to the Isles of Scilly is subject to weather conditions and an alternative excursion may be offered.
Today we visit the magnificent Eden Project. Experience the sights, smells and scale of the rainforests in the Rainforest Biome, amble amongst the orange and lemon trees in the Mediterranean Biome, and in the 30-acre Outdoor Garden discover a wide variety of plants that flourish in the Cornish sunshine. The vast exhibits and fantastic displays attract visitors from all over the world.
Visit the Lost Gardens of Heligan, with 80 acres of gardens including delights such as 'The Jungle' and 'The Lost Valley'. This exuberant garden hosts a riot of luxuriant foliage, blooming rhododendrons and ancient woodlands. Its special atmosphere encourages contemplation and inspiration for experienced gardeners and novices alike!
Return home.
Important note regarding Isle of Scilly excursion: We recommend you take suitable clothing and footwear as the weather is changeable. The exact duration of your journey will depend on the tides and weather, but it usually takes between 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours. As the ship makes its way into the Atlantic, it passes a point where several ocean currents meet, so the sea can occasionally get choppy. As with any sea crossing, it might be a good idea to bring some medication with you if you’re often prone to motion sickness (there isn't any kept on board the ship). The sailing to the Isles of Scilly is subject to operational and weather conditions and an alternative excursion may be offered.
