Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to Llandudno for four nights.
Excursion into Snowdonia National Park, enjoying the wonderful scenery and joining the Snowdon Mountain Railway. Trains depart from Llanberis station and cross two viaducts, travelling past majestic waterfalls, through amazing rock-littered landscapes, and onto the summit. Please note, Clogwyn Station, which is 3/4 of way to the summit is as high as the trains can go in early spring when ice and snow prevents trains from reaching the summit.
We also call at Caernarfon. Home to the Wales' most famous castle, the town's maze of narrow streets and the stylish redeveloped waterfront are a delight to explore.
Relax in Llandudno and explore this popular seaside town at leisure. Enjoy a stroll along the level seafront, wander along the grand Victorian pier or perhaps take the tramway or chair lift to the summit of the Great Orme and enjoy the beautiful views.
Alternatively, join our optional excursion to Anglesey, as we cross the Menai Strait and call at Llanfair PG, the village with the longest name in the country.
with an extra experience
A real holiday highlight is in store today. Dreamy arrays of colourful blooms and intriguing architecture make the stunning Italiante village of Portmeirion a magical day out.
Situated on its own private peninsula, overlooking spectacular coastal scenery, enjoy a stroll around the formal gardens within the surrounding wilderness of exotic plants and pretty woodlands. Portmeirion was created by Welsh architect Clough Williams-Ellis from 1925 to 1976 to show how a naturally beautiful site could be redeveloped without spoiling it and Portmeirion is now one of Wales' top attractions.
Return home.
*Please note that Clogwyn Station is as high as the trains can go in early spring when ice or snow prevents trains from reaching the summit. Due to inclement weather or operational reasons, the journey aboard the Snowdon Mountain Railway may not go to the summit.
