A cathedral city of ageless beauty and captivating history, Salisbury has been welcoming travellers since 1227. The city’s fascinating past is reflected though its buildings – at its heart is the magnificent Salisbury Cathedral, which boasts Britain's tallest spire and is the keeper of one of the best-kept original copies of the Magna Carta. The charming streets are home to high-street shops and independent retailers, as well as a Charter Market that fills the Market Place twice a week!
Enjoy a morning excursion to Cirencester, the 'Capital of the Cotswolds'.
The second largest town in Roman Britain, the pretty market square is dominated by the cathedral-like parish church, which dates from around 1500. Cirencester's market square is mentioned in the Domesday Book, and there are regular craft and antique markets held alongside the quaint shops and cafés.
Enjoy our included excursion to the glorious city of Bath. Designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the city is brimming with historic attractions, from the beautiful Abbey and Roman Baths to the splendid Royal Crescent. When you've finished uncovering the city's past, browse the many independent shops, relax in one of the delightful cafés or restaurants, and watch the world go by!
