The premises are in need of some TLC particularly as affects some of the decor. The staff were superb. The menu was varied and more than adequate. The rooms allocated were bijou with the shower/toilet room minuscule, but nevertheless functional. I was somewhat concerned that having made the booking and paid the deposit on the advertised basis that single room occupancy did not attract a surcharge, that the first I was informed this was not the case was on receipt of the advance invoice a month later. When I queried this, I was informed in a polite conversation that it was either accept the surcharge or cancel and get a deposit refund. Very much a take it or leave it situation. I was a little surprised on arrival to find that my party of three had been allocated three car parking spaces. Oh well, best made plans and all that. Llandudno is ideally situated for exploration of North Wales and the Marine Hotel is a good base from which to do so. Perhaps next time when booking a single occupancy room I will ensure that I get a firm price confirmation in writing before proceeding.

I thought that the single room was nice and clean. The food was very good and the service by the waiters was excellent. The hotel is very handy placed in the resort and was very close to the rail station, which I found very handy.

As always enjoyed staying at the Marine hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful at all times. The only thing I could fault was the quality and selection of food at mealtimes. There wasn’t enough choice of starters and cooked products at breakfast, and the quality had gone down in my estimation.
