The stunning Trossachs await us, as we travel into the heart of Scotland’s National Park. We journey over the Dukes Pass, through the village of Brig o’Turk, and call at the bustling town of Callander, before returning along Loch Lomond.
'Trossachs' is a very unique qord, for a unique place and this area is often referred to as the highlands in miniature with sparkling lochs, sleepy forests which are overlooked by brooding hills and peppered with welcoming villages.
This morning we travel over the Rest & Be Thankful Pass to reach the pretty, white-walled town of Inveraray, one of Scotland's loveliest towns and home to a beautiful castle and fascinating jail.
Later in the day, we return to the hotel for some time at leisure - relax at the hotel, enjoy a walk in the local area or take a cruise on the loch!
Today we follow the shores of the loch southwards to visit cosmopolitan Glasgow which bursts with culture, history, museums and superb shopping, just waiting to be discovered.
A city with striking architecture, from the magnificent splendour of the gothic Cathedral, to the impressive modern Riverside Museum on the harbour, there is so much to admire. Glasgow has evolved over recent decades to become one of Britain's most intriguing and vibrant cities.
Return home.
You will stay for four nights at the 3-star Tarbet Hotel in Tarbet on the shores of Loch Lomond or the 3-star Claymore Hotel in Arrochar.
