Local departure by coach or Home Connect service, then on to the Lake District and our hotel for four nights.

Our included excursion takes us first to the charming town of Ambleside, located at the head of Lake Windermere. Known as ‘The Jewel in Lakeland’s Crown’ and surrounded by outstanding natural scenery, you will have free time to explore this delightful market town at your own pace, before continuing to the popular lakeside town of Bowness.

Located between Waterhead and Lakeside on the shore of Lake Windermere, Bowness has a pleasant town centre and glorious setting, and is consequently one of the most visited towns in the Lake District.

You will have time at leisure to admire the beautiful Victorian and Edwardian architecture, browse the local shops or relax and watch the boats sail by on the lake – the choice is yours!
