Local departure by coach or Home connect service, then on through the western Highlands to our hotel for four nights. Dinner and drinks get the holiday underway.
This morning we take a trip to Kinlochleven, at the eastern end of Loch Leven and at the foot of the beautiful mountains known as the Mamores. Back at the hotel, a soup and sandwich lunch awaits. Three drinks vouchers are provided each day as well as two nights' entertainment in this fabulous more inclusive package.
Relax in Fort William or join our optional excursion to Mallaig, via the Road to the Isles. This road offers some of the most spectacular scenery in the world, from sandy beaches to dramatic hills, green woodlands to heather moors, and of course unforgettable sea views. Soup and sandwiches are provided again for lunch, as well as dinner and some drinks included
with an extra experience
Today, we visit Fort Augustus at the south-west end of Loch Ness. We drive via Spean Bridge and the Commando Memorial, a monument dedicated to the men of the original British Commando Forces in WWII. We then continue to Fort Augustus which offers spectacular views down Loch Ness. A packed lunch is provided, as well as dinner and drinks again in the evening.
Filled with festive cheer, we depart Fort William with our final packed lunch for the journey home.
You will stay for four nights at the Alexandra Hotel, located in Fort William. The Alexandra Hotel has pride of place at the end of Fort William's High Street. Part of the very fabric of the town since 1876, the Alex provides traditional Scottish hospitality in the 'outdoor capital of the Highlands' in the shadow of Ben Nevis.
