Join us as we discover the Netherlands, combining the beautiful blooms of the world-famous Keukenhof Park with a visit to the newly refurbished Het Loo Palace – a 17th-century palace built for the Dutch Royal Family. For over 300 years, members of the House of Orange-Nassau made Het Loo Palace their home, and you can discover its fascinating past with a choice of two guided tours, and time to explore the gorgeous landscaped gardens afterwards. With the chance to also soak up the best of vibrant Amsterdam, this fantastic short break will give you a real flavour of this remarkable country.

We travel to Keukenhof Park this morning to enjoy the beautiful blooms and floral displays. Each year, thousands of visitors from all over the world come to see the themed gardens and pavilions filled with spectacular flower displays and unique art installations. From gorgeous fruit trees to orchids, daffodils and, most famously, vibrant tulips, soak in the colourful delights and sweet scents, perhaps even picking up some tips for your own garden!
We make the journey to Het Loo Palace today to get a glimpse of how the Dutch Royal Family lived. Take advantage of the audio-guided visit inside the Palace where you have a choice of two tours; follow the original occupants, King Willem III and his wife Queen Mary II, or visit the apartments where Queen Wilhelmina lived in the 19th and 20th centuries.
Afterwards, you can explore the beautiful Baroque gardens which show their wealth in full glory, with high fountains, impressive statues and gorgeous floral displays.
Today, you can enjoy some free time in Utrecht, often referred to as 'Mini Amsterdam' due to the maze of tree-lined canals that make their way through the town. See the iconic Dom Tower or wander through the inviting squares and narrow alleys.
Alternatively, take advantage of our optional excursion to Amsterdam, with free time to explore this magnificent city. Admire the beautiful, quirky buildings that line the canals, or simply relax in a charming café.
Please note: Due to locally introduced traffic regulations there will be a walk of at least 30 minutes from the coach drop-off point to the centre of Amsterdam.
