Local departure by coach to Home Connect service then on to Cornwall for a four-night stay.

The magical Isles of Scilly is our destination today. We depart early, making our way to Penzance for our sailing to St Mary's.

St Mary's is the largest of the Scilly Islands and there will be free time here to discover the quaint centre with its shops and cafés, soak up the beautiful coastal scenery, or simply relax and watch the many boats that enter and depart from the bustling harbour.

Hugh Town is the central hub of the island, where the Scillonian docks and where you will find a cluster of shops, banks, churches, cafés and galleries. It has three lovely beaches; Porthcressa, Porthmellon, and Town Beach which is the perfect spot to watch the comings and goings in the quay.

Return home.

Important note regarding Isle of Scilly excursion: Due to early departure and late return of this excursion, breakfast and dinner will not be included on this day. We recommend you take suitable clothing and footwear as the weather is changeable. The exact duration of your journey will depend on the tides and weather, but it usually takes between 2 hours 45 minutes to 3 hours. As this excursion requires an early departure from the hotel and a late return in the evening, breakfast and dinner are not included on this day. As the ship makes its way into the Atlantic, it passes a point where several ocean currents meet, so the sea can occasionally get choppy. As with any sea crossing, it might be a good idea to bring some medication with you if you’re often prone to motion sickness (there isn't any kept on board the ship). The sailing to the Isles of Scilly is subject to operational and weather conditions and an alternative excursion may be offered.

You will stay for 4 nights at either 3-star St. Ives Bay Hotel in St. Ives or the 3-star Ship and Castle Hotel in St. Mawes.
