We arrive in Chianciano late morning and have time to settle into our hotel for our first night in this beautiful destination.
Florence is the capital of Tuscany, and is a wonderful city with amazing architecture and a huge number of historical sights. With something for everyone, this excursion to Florence is sure to make for an enjoyable day out.
For instance, while at leisure in the city, you can choose to see such sights as the Piazza della Signoria where the Fountain of Neptune is located, as well as a replica of Michelangelo’s David statue – the original is housed within the Galleria dell'Accademia in Florence. There’s also the gothic Florence Cathedral, the Palazzo Vecchio, the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of the History of Science, and many other sights.

Relax and make yourself at home on Christmas Day! We celebrate with a festive Christmas lunch and a fantastic dinner.
Today we discover the historical towns of Pienza and Siena. Pienza and its surrounding valley is a Unesco World Heritage site and the town dates back to the 9th century,
Next, we’ll make our way to Siena. The city’s historical centre, is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site, and one of Italy’s most-visited tourist attractions, famous for the medieval Piazza del Campo.
As our holiday draws to a close, we’ll say goodbye to Chianciano and travel overnight towards Calais.

You will stay for five nights at the 3-star Hotel Mizar or similar. Situated in the heart of Chianciano, the modern Hotel Mizar is only 20m from Piazza Italia. The roof terrace offers panoramic views of the town.
