Local departure by coach or Home Connect service then on to your hotel for a four-night stay.
Enjoy a potter around the Cotswolds as we take in some of its prettiest villages. Moreton-in-Marsh is our first stop – a thriving market town whose High Street is lined with elegant 17th and 18th century buildings.
We continue to Stow-on-the-Wold, the highest of the Cotswolds' towns – historically an important trading centre where the quaint Market Square is flanked by town houses, independent shops, antique centres and cosy cafés.
We return to Chipping Norton for some free time to explore.
Visit the Regency city of Cheltenham before taking to the tracks of the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Railway for a delightful trip through beautiful scenery to reach Broadway.
Often referred to as the 'Jewel of the Cotswolds', Broadway was originally centred around the old church and is recorded in the Domesday Book.
Our ramble around the Cotswolds continues as we visit Cirencester, the 'Capital of the Cotswolds' and a lovely market town with fascinating history.
Later in the day we call at Burford, with its famous High Street that sweeps downhill towards the River Windrush, its three-arched medieval bridge and its impressive church, both sides of the street flanked by an unbroken line of ancient houses and shops. Little has changed over the centuries and this is showcased in The Tolsey Museum, a delightful, local museum illustrating the town's social and industrial past.

The trips out were excellent, the hotel was lovely but it has the main hotel and 6 blocks which are all separate from the main building, meals - the breakfasts were great with a lot of choice, the evening meals weren't the best a lot of people complained bout them

The first day tour was a waist off time, too much time in one street villages. The other two days were very good with plenty to see. The hotel let the whole holiday down, the room was very good but it was based on a golf complex and there wasn't any where to walk outside or to sit. The food and dining area was dreadful with not enough tables for two and the cook needs to go to catering college for a year.

Very poor service by the catering staff. Had to wait nearly 1+ 3/4 hour for our 1st evening meal to be ordered and served. Also the choice of food was limited and small potions and an extra charge for vegetables, which were excluded from each meal!

Was expecting a Sheerings cach pulling up for us at the start, instead a company called Pats Coaches. Not a good start for me. Hotel not up to scratch especially catering just about every evening took a lot to organise and menu not my choice. Touring round the villages, the driver tried his best, but some villages could be seen in much shorter stops..Highlight Cheltenham and the train ride to Broadway then Citencester. Will chose carefully next time if there is a next time.
