Regional departure by coach then direct to Warwickshire. We will make a stop in Stratford-upon-Avon. This truly magical town has a special sparkle during the festive season!
Most famous as the birthplace of Shakespeare but beside Shakespearean attractions, Stratford-upon-Avon offers lots to do, with excellent shops, historic buildings, picturesque inns and delightfully cosy cafés.
We will then journey to our hotel for two nights. We enjoy tea and coffee with a mince pie on arrival to get into the festive spirit.
Blenheim Palace is a UNESCO World Heritage Site with over 300 years of history. Situated in the beautiful Oxfordshire countryside, it is one of England's largest houses and is a stunning example of architecture.
Arguably, it is most famous as the birthplace and home of Sir Winston Churchill, England's Prime Minister between 1940-45 and 1951-55. There are exhibitions here dedicated to one of our greatest leaders and the work he did during the war.
Blenheim Palace comes alive during the festive season, with an illuminated light trail bringing together a multitude of twinkling lights, seasonal sounds and beautiful Christmas decorations, as well as a Christmas market in The Great Court, where you can stock up on festive treats!
We depart the hotel full of festive cheer this morning and return home.
