Local departure by coach or Home Connect service then on to Blackpool for a four-night stay.
This morning we visit Oswaldtwistle Mills. A former weaving mill and home to over 100 retailers all under one roof, there’s something here for everyone. Here we enjoy tea and cake before returning to Blackpool where you’ll have free time to explore the many attractions at leisure.
Why not enjoy a stroll along the 'Golden Mile', passing the three traditional piers and, of course, the iconic tower? Or discover the Comedy Carpet installation in the heart of the town, where jokes and catchphrases of some of the country's finest comedians who have played in Blackpool have been immortalised onto the ground in front of the tower.
Enjoy a day at leisure in Blackpool. From the iconic Blackpool Tower to the three traditional piers, there is so much to keep you entertained.
Alternatively, why not join our optional excursion to Southport? The bustling shops on Lord Street, the elegant pier and beautiful beach are all worth exploring. Call in at popular Wayfarers Arcade and be impressed by the elegant architecture and glass roof.
After dinner, join our excursion through the lights by vintage tram – the best way to see this dazzling spectacle! The greatest free light show on earth never fails to impress, as the six-mile stretch of seafront is illuminated with new additions every year!

Famous for its lakes, mountains and early 19th century poets, the Lake District is the most visited National Park in the UK and England’s newest UNESCO World Heritage Site. We visit beautiful Bowness-on-Windermere, the popular village that hugs the shores of England’s largest lake. Explore the independent shops, watch the world go by from the quaint cafés or take in the stunning scenery that surrounds you.
We then will board our cruise to Ambleside so we can appreciate the beautiful scenery from the water.Return home.
