Regional departure by coach, then enjoy a direct journey to the city of Birmingham. You will have free time in the afternoon to explore the city's sights.

Enjoy a peaceful stroll through the beautiful Birmingham Botanical Gardens and admire its colourful flowers and tranquil ponds, while the Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery provides an opportunity to appreciate a wide range of exhibits and delve into history in a relaxing environment.

For those who prefer shopping, why not visit the Great Western Arcade, the Bullring and Grand Central for the ultimate shopping and dining experience? With its lively cultural scene, there’s always something interesting happening. The warm and welcoming atmosphere makes it easy to feel comfortable and enjoy your time.

Later, we'll continue to our hotel for a two-night stay. Enjoy dinner with your fellow travellers this evening.

This morning, we travel to the NEC for the BBC Gardeners' World Live event.

Established 25 years ago, the BBC Gardeners’ World Live show is a delightful celebration of all things gardening, perfect for green thumbs and nature lovers alike.

Held each year, this event is a wonderful chance to explore stunning garden displays, pick up tips from expert gardeners such as Monty Don and Alan Titchmarsh, and discover a wide range of plants and gardening tools. Imagine strolling through beautifully designed gardens, where you can gather inspiration for your own outdoor space. There are also informative talks and demonstrations that make gardening easy and enjoyable, no matter your experience level. It’s a splendid opportunity to connect with fellow gardening enthusiasts, enjoy some fresh air, and perhaps even find a new favourite plant or gadget.

Anticipate a day filled with cheerful conversations, lovely sights, and the chance to leave with a head full of new ideas. There will also be a range of food stalls and restaurants on site serving delicious courses, as well as ample shopping opportunities.
