With a hotel so centrally located, a day at leisure to explore is a must! We have included a guided tour this morning with a local guide to highlight the main central sites and walk you through the history of this fascinating city. The tour will finish at the famous ancient Roman Baths the oldest and most renowned of the city’s historic attractions. The entrance is included.
This afternoon is yours and free to explore further. Enjoy the architectural splendour of the iconic Royal Crescent, majestic Abbey and Pulteney Bridge. Bath also has a remarkable collection of galleries and museums, including a museum of Jane Austen’s life.
We then continue to Tetbury which is an area of outstanding natural beauty and the second largest town in the Cotswolds. It is the home of King Charles III and Camilla, Queen Consort of the United Kingdom. Tetbury was an important market for Cotswold wool and yarn during the Middle Ages. Today, it is better associated with boutique shops, great food, and its Royal Connections.
Discover the delights of Somerset as we travel through the beautiful scenery, calling at charming villages along the way. Firstly, we call at the village of Cheddar, home to the magnificent ravine that carves its way through the landscape.
We continue to Wells, England’s smallest cathedral city. Quintessentially English, the compact, cobbled centre is home to plenty of independent shops and high-street brands.
We round the day off with a visit to Glastonbury. Rich in myth and legend, Glastonbury is known for its ancient and medieval sights, and, of course, one of the most famous music festivals in the world!
After breakfast, we start the journey home.

We visited Highgrove Wells and Bath. Stayed in Bristol at the Leonardo hotel. Everything was very well organised even the coach transfer was painless. Would definitely use Shearings again.
