Local departure by coach or Home Connect Service, then travel to Amsterdam, where we embark our ship.

Today you are free to explore Amsterdam at your leisure. Amsterdam boasts 120 canals, 1280 bridges and a host of museums. During your free time, why not admire the 17th-century merchant houses or the floating flower market, which is ablaze with colour in every season. There are many traditional and contemporary art galleries too and of course, Amsterdam is a haven for shoppers. We enjoy dinner on board the ship and set sail for Arnhem.

We arrive into Arnhem and this morning, where there’s the opportunity to join our optional walking tour of Arnhem, in the company of a local guide. Arnhem is probably most famous for The Battle of Arnhem which was one of the largest battles in WWII. On our walking tour, you’ll see some of the key battle locations such as the John Frost Bridge and the St. Elisabeth Gasthuis. Learn more about the rich history of Arnhem as you pass the historic Rozet Building, as well as Devil's House and Sabers Gate too. We return to the ship for lunch, and we set sail for Cologne overnight.

We arrive into Cologne this morning, where there’s the chance to join an optional walking tour with a local guide. Cologne is a beautiful city, dominated by its huge Gothic cathedral. You’ll have free time to explore at leisure this afternoon before we set sail for Koblenz this evening.

We arrive in the historic city of Koblenz, one of the oldest, most beautiful and most diverse cities in Germany. You’re free to explore at leisure before we return to the ship for lunch and onward sailing towards Rüdesheim. Tonight, there’s the chance to join our optional tour to visit a wine cellar and sample some of the superb wine that the region is so famous for.

We arrive into the port of Mannheim today. After lunch on board, you can join an optional excursion to the majestic city of Heidelberg, home of Germany’s oldest university, for time at leisure. We return to the ship for an overnight sailing towards Strasbourg.

This morning we arrive into the magnificent city of Strasbourg, which is well known for its world heritage status. Enjoy some free time to explore the main sights at leisure or take a walk around the old city. You can enjoy our fantastic optional excursion cruising along Strasbourg’s waterways, which is a great way to see the city. We set sail for Mainz this evening.

This morning we bid farewell to our captain and crew and disembark our ship. Travel to Belgium for an overnight stay.

Return home.

You will spend seven nights aboard the MS Crucevita. Overnight stay in Belgium will be in a city-style hotel.
